Jax Fuhri is just getting started in the fast-paced world of Quarter Midget racing! With big dreams and even bigger speed, Jax is learning the ropes, pushing his limits, and having a blast every time he hits the track.

When he’s not racing, you’ll probably find him playing video games, hanging out with friends, or talking about cars (a lot). Jax brings energy, excitement, and a fearless attitude to every race — always ready to give it his all and have fun doing it!

I’m Douglas Kaminski, team manager of Jax Fuhri Racing, and racing has always been a passion of mine. From the time I was a kid with Matchbox cars, Power Wheels, and even my dad’s lawn mower, I’ve always had a wheel in my hand. At 16, I got my first car — a 2006 Toyota Tacoma with a 6-speed manual — and I’ve been banging gears ever since. Today, you’ll usually find me behind the wheel of my 2024 Tacoma (manual, of course), my 2023 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, or my right-hand-drive 1996 Toyota Hilux Surf from Japan. My love of driving led me to a career in the automotive industry, and now with Jax Fuhri Racing, I get to take that passion to the track in a bigger way. As team manager, I handle the behind-the-scenes work that keeps us moving forward — from organizing race days to supporting our drivers and crew — but more than that, I love bringing people together to build something special. For me, this isn’t just about racing cars; it’s about creating memories, sharing the experience with family, friends, and fans, and chasing our goals as a team.

I’m Joe Irizarry, Chief Engineer of Jax Fuhri Racing, but more than titles, I’ve always just been someone who’s drawn to anything with wheels and speed. From turning wrenches in the garage to spending weekends at the track, cars have been the constant thread in my life. They’ve taken me from childhood curiosity to a career built around chasing performance and precision. What excites me most is the challenge of pushing limits while keeping machines safe, reliable, and competitive. Starting this journey with Jax Fuhri Racing from day one means more than just keeping the cars running; it’s about shaping the team’s identity and building a foundation we can grow on, one race at a time.
